Making a Gift
Donations to the Scholarship and Building Fund are tax deductible and all supporters will receive a receipt. Giving to the NEGS Foundation can be undertaken through a variety of ways.
The NEGS Foundation, staff and students thank our NEGS family for supporting Annual Giving programme.
This year, we are seeking further support so we can continue the journey and achieve our vision – giving the gift of education to future generations of NEGS girls, who otherwise would not have the opportunity of attending this remarkable school. It is our hope we will be able to offer additional scholarships in the near future and we need assistance from our NEGS family to make this possible.
Our Annual Giving programme is the cornerstone of the School’s philanthropic initiatives and is one of the most important ways in which NEGS can support the wider community. Collectively, we can make a difference to future students and give the gift of education.
We invite our NEGS family to support the 2016 Annual Giving programme; all gifts are tax deductible and will be directed to the Education, Indigenous Program or Building Fund. Gifts of any level are gratefully received by the School and will directly benefit future students.
If you would like to support this programme, please contact the Enrolments Office
Bequests have played a significant part in the School’s development. Owing to the generosity of benefactors, funds have been given towards the construction of key facilities and to assist with keeping NEGS at the forefront of girls’ education. Through bequests, we are reminded of our history and the real difference it has made to the future of the School. Students will continue to benefit for many years to come due to a benefactor’s generosity and legacy.
Making a bequest to NEGS will provide an opportunity for you to support the School without diminishing your current assets. Importantly, it also allows the School to honour and recognise our supporters. You may also choose to nominate how you would like your gift to be directed, whether for general or specific purposes within the School. By nominating NEGS as a beneficiary in your will, you are leaving an enduring legacy to help us to fulfil our vision – NEGS girls: embracing life with confidence, compassion and creativity.
If you have already made a will and you wish to leave a gift you may be able to make a simple change by adding a codicil, which includes NEGS as a beneficiary.
Bequests to the School can be made in a number of different forms and can be directed to an area of particular interest. Gifts such as property, art, money, chattels or a percentage of your estate are gratefully received by the School and all contributions large or small are certainly appreciated. We encourage all of our benefactors to ensure they provide for their family first and to consult with their legal advisor.
Please contact the School if you have chosen to leave a bequest, which allows the foundation to communicate their appreciation. Should you wish to have a confidential discussion or receive information about leaving a gift to the School please contact the Director of Development to discuss how your bequest can benefit the young women of New England Girls’ School. Potential benefactors can be assured all communication with the School regarding bequests will be strictly confidential.
